This policy explains how Bloom Labs processes information when you use the saffari.ai Android browser, package app.saffarai.
1. Information we collect
If you sign in, we store your Google-provided email address, display name, profile picture, and a Supabase user ID. If you continue as a guest, we create an anonymous user ID with no email or name attached.
Signed-in and guest sync can store URLs and page titles, search queries, bookmarks, and home-screen favorites; signed-in accounts can also store AI conversations. AI providers process prompts to generate replies. Gravity receives limited immediate chat context for clearly labelled contextual sponsored suggestions.
When you choose Private Browsing after its disclosure, visited URLs, page titles, search terms, and timestamps are retained for 180 days in a separate compliance log. The log is not linked to your saffari.ai account or device identifier.
To operate and improve the app we record taps on home-screen partner tiles and Deals offers (which item, when, and your user ID if any), and silent diagnostics when something fails — such as a sign-in, sync, AI, or ad-loading error — with your app version, OS version, and device model. Diagnostics never include the pages you visit, and neither is recorded during Private Browsing.
Optional weather uses an approximate coordinate only when requested. Websites may receive camera, microphone, or location data only after you approve their permission request.
2. Advertising
Google AdMob may process technical information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, consent choices, ad interactions, and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads.
AdMob ads may be personalized based on your advertising ID and Google's own data where you have consented, or where consent is not legally required; otherwise Google shows non-personalized ads. We do not send AdMob browsing history, search history, saved AI chats, precise location, email address, or captured webpage content for targeting. AdMob ads are not requested during Private Browsing.
Where required, Google’s consent flow is shown before ads are requested. Available advertising privacy choices can be revisited from Profile in the app.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide browser, sync, AI, account-safety, support, advertising, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance functions. We do not sell personal data or build behavioral advertising profiles from browsing history.
4. Service providers
We rely on Supabase for accounts and synced data, Google for sign-in and AdMob advertising, AI model providers for responses, Gravity for contextual sponsored suggestions, Open-Meteo for optional weather, and DuckDuckGo’s public icon service for favicons.
Third-party websites opened in the browser remain governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Storage and retention
Local browser state remains until you clear it or uninstall the app. Signed-in cloud data remains while your account is active or until deletion, subject to legal obligations. Private Browsing compliance records expire after 180 days unless legally preserved.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal data, and withdraw consent where applicable. Email hello.tesalabs@gmail.com from the account concerned; we aim to respond within 30 days.
7. Children and security
saffari.ai is not directed to children under 13. We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
